Had the privilege of being classmates with Geri at Howard University's School of Music, 1975-79. Her talent was light years ahead of the rest of us, and that includes most of her professors. She was a quiet one, but very friendly. We all knew that she was going to be mega-successful, and she didn't disappoint. Rest In Peace dear Geri. Miss you my sister. ❤❤

This record is absolutely a master piece, a wonderful moment in time registered for the good of the human species. But Wes solo on bLUE N bOOGIE IS TOP 20 in the "list of best all time jazz solos" , if there was one, which is imposible.... cause this is not a sport.
